My previous notes hold true, with the addition of a bit of mushroom and damp forest floor in this bottle. Delicious.

This is a wonderful wine. Pale crimson color, the wine only needs a tiny decant (or warm up in the glass) after coming out of the cellar. The bouquet is generous and gorgeous, with dried cherries, strawberry compote, ripe raspberries, dried herbs, along with a touch of vanilla and baking spices. If this wine was ever tart (plenty of Oregon Pinot's are) there is none to be found here. The wine is balanced, packed with delicate and delicious red fruits, …

Saturday Night Preserved Dinner | St Augustine Food + Wine Festival (Preserved Restaurant) : Paired with a Filet and while I do believe Pinot is one of the most flexible of grapes I don't usually see that. This is a more full bodied style though so it worked. Lighter on its feet and well balanced and while its ten years old there's many more years to go. Perhaps that whole cluster fermentation that they do. I found it enjoyable.

Classic Willamette Pinot. Wonderful, sultry, big nose of black cherry, raspberry, spice and eucalyptus. Perhaps my favorite nose since 1997 David Bruce Central Coast. Rich savory flavors of spice bing cherry and black raspberry. Loooong leggy finish that flutters through tiers of bing cherry, black raspberry, pomegranate, and spice. Got better as it opened.

A pretty Pinot that offers decent fruit and decent structure, which gains depth with air. Cherry red in color, medium in body, somewhat muted nose of cherry syrup and rosemary, with a hint of cardamon. Tastes of raspberry, rosemary, and eucalyptus, with a light finish. 13.5% alcohol. This seems to be a down-the-middle wine for this vintage, and - even if it's not that exciting - it's quite enjoyable (and a good value).

Go West! Tasting (The QEII Centre, Westminster, London) : Big powerful nose, full spicy cinnamon and nutmeg nose, great oak frame, ripe red currant and cherry. The palate follows the same great profile, full spicy and oaky, ripe berry, fine tannins and long finish. Truly outstanding quality 94+

Go West! Tasting (The QEII Centre, Westminster, London) : Great old world complexity, earthy, ripe fruit, touch of toasted oak, walnut, cinnamon. In the palate the wine follows down the same decadent road, glorious ripe sweet tannins, beautiful spiced frame, med body and med+ finish. Outstanding quality

A little air and it's great. Cherry and blueberry, med body. A Napa style but not over the top.
