Very smooth and well balanced medium bodied wine. I didn’t get much on the nose, but hint of oranges on the palette. This vintage is drinking well. I have some 2021 which is less balanced than the 2017 and could do with some time.

Intense nose of dark fruits with hints of raspberries, coffee and smoky oak. Deep, dark, concentrated palate of blackberries, raspberries, toasty oak and coffee. Med body, intense flavour, high acid, med plus length. A great wine of fantastic intensity and quality that can be enjoyed now or cellared for the next several years for increased richness and rounded mouthfeel. A gem.
