Not as good as previous bottles. Maybe slightly flawed. The screw cap was difficult to remove. Maybe some oxidation?

Ok, what's up with this? My first bottle, two years ago was superb. This one is ... good. Kind of skunk on the nose. But with the screw top (!) it's not likely to be compromised. Maybe just past due. Not bad. Just not more than good. Nothing to write home about.

What a great qpr White Burgundy. Pop and Pour. The color is a light straw yellow. The nose is floral with apple and pear fruit. On the palate mineral, and tart fruit... maybe a little honey. Just lovely. IMHO at peak. Happy to have a few more to enjoy.

Batting above average - very balanced, nice lemon zest, smooth silky mouthfeel, oak fully integrated. Flinty and rich without being buttery or heavy. A pleasure to drink.

Drank at Davy's Excellent balance with lots of minerality and some great nuttiness and green fruits. Complex mouth with a medium length. Excellent stuff.

Fruity nose with peach, kiwi and fresh pineapple notes. Lemon zest, oak spicepepper and some new oak aromas. Dry and medium bodied on the palate with pretty steely acidity cutting the round fruit perfectly. Creamy feel with butterscotch and nuttiness complementing the leesy to mineral aftertaste with powdery chalk and stone dust notes. Rather powerful performance. Concentrated fruit kept vivacious and juicy by wonderful structure.

Butter, toast and lime on the nose. Medium bodied, citrus and apples with hints of oak. Crispy acidity, but a bit short on the finnish.

Slightly golden. Fresh- under stelvin. Nose has some Puligny nuttiness which is a little deceiving because the palate is completely lemon and mineral. Tight but I loved the piercing acidity and focus of the wine. Finish lasted for days. Some may think this is Chablis for its almost austere minerality. Pleasantly surprised by the transparancy and class of the wine. Need more of this on hand to rejuvinate the palate every so often.

Epic champagne and white burgundy night at chez carmichel's The"closing bottles" for the night are out. Lot's of nuttiness off this tight, steely, high minerality wine, with a substantially lengthy finish. Tart, vibrant, lemon zest, with great structure, and imposing acidity-lay it down, as this wine will only improve.

Clear, medium lemon color-high alcohol showing Some oak, with good minerality off the nose-petroleum based. Tastes mostly like the nose, lots of honey dew, some lemon zest Dry, medium acidity, medium body. Minerality, green herbaciousness-a little stone-slightly stressed.
