Nice and quite classic Syrah, seemed French. Not heavy, prunes, blackberry, a bit of pepper. Not happy about the price though.

Youthful, easy drinking syrah. Medium acidity, earthy tones. Average.

Wow, probably the best Syrah from Italy I had in a long time. The bouquet has varietal complexity with sour cherries, some white pepper and some earthy somewhat Tuscan notes. It’s so long on the palate and something to seek out for.

Monthly Men's Wine Dinner (2120 Restaurant, Seattle) : Despite decanting over two hours, this remained tight and compressed, although some delicious muted flavors of coffee and mulberry showed through. Needs more cellar time. My #4 of 6 and the group's #6.
