Bready nose with red cherries, Nice fruit on the palate, savoury yeasty notes and a full creamy texture, There's a bit of excess sweetness for my taste but for the price, around £20, it's hard to argue with.

Well this is rather unexpectedly nice! It doesn't need to be chilled too far and it benefits from being open for at least half an hour. Then there's a nice brioche nose, and a palate of tart fruit (wild strawberries I suppose is the normal analogy), a little tannin, enough, but not too much acidity, and a nice moderately long finish. This is one of those rosé champagnes which is great on its own but would also pair with everything …

Light golden hue, Very nice creamy buttery flavor, rich and rounded citrus flavours good balance of acidity, clean lemon finish with a vibrant elegant mousse, Excellent, one the best in house Brut Champagnes I have tried. Creamy mousse on the palate with a soft lemony subtle citrus flavors that make it crisp and dry. It has been awarded the International Wine Challenge 2015 Gold winner, well deserved, always seem to go along with my taste in wine. It has the …

Very good creamy buttery flavor, Excellent, one the best in house Champagnes I have tried. Creamy mousse on the palate with a soft lemony subtle citrus flavors that make it crisp and dry. It has been awarded the International Wine Challenge 2015 Gold winner, well deserved, allways seem to go along with my taste in wine. It has the IWSC Gold 2014 (International Wine & Spirit Competition Quality Award) Outstanding. The Gold award is more than justified. I went back …

It has the IWSC Gold 2014 (International Wine & Spirit Competition Quality Award) Outstanding. The Gold award is more than justified. I went back the next day to get some more but I think I have the one and only bottle in the store. This is excellent value and very enjoyable at …

Xmas lunch aperitif. Medium mousse, light gold colour. Initial citrus nose then apples and brioche. Palate has fresh acidity balanced by some yeasty richness and baked apples with some depth. Finish a bit short. This is excellent value and very enjoyable.

Clear, light mouse, light gold. Clean nose, medium (+) intensity aromas of biscuits, apples, lemon. Dry palate with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity flavours of biscuits, baked apples and lemon. Medium finish. The wine is very good and should be drunk now, it is not suitable for further ageing. It definitely seems to have taken in some weight and complexity since the last note 6 months ago, hence the higher score. Recent gold medal seems merited.

Classical citrus and biscuit aromas. Quite a delicate mousse, disappears quite quickly. Nice balance of toasty, yeasty notes, baked apple fruit and citrus acidity. Not hugely complex.

Drinking this in a power cut so can't observe colour or spritz! The nose is bready, soft, over ripe apples. The palate has piercing bright acidity initially but this actually passed with time in the glass. The fruit is baked apple, some sweetness, cloves, quite a long finish. Good on its own or with food. Very good value.

This is punching above its weight. Very noticeable apple notes. Interesting. Some good autolysis. Slight sour/tart note. Great acidity. Complex. Open. Not normally a blanc de blanc fan but this is very good. Ready now but with a few years left.

Quite a 'robust' mouthful at the front. Peters out and then leaves you with a strong feeling of ripe fruit. It's well rounded. There is no sharpness. Can be used on its own but it went down very well with heavy food as well. For a Tesco own brand, really good showing.

Mum's 70th birthday - a la Tesco Finest! (Mum and Dad's, UK) : Medium to full body, rounded palate with a medium palate. Quaffable and better than most NV's; acidity kept in check.

Mum's 70th birthday - a la Tesco Finest! (Mum and Dad's, UK) : Fairly generic, no vintage characteristics - could have been a NV, albeit a decent one.
