Pure cherry and plum on the nose, with the faintest hint of pepper; for the first while, no whiff of alcohol at all, just fruit. Tastes like dark cherry, blackberry and plum, with charcoal, black pepper, herbs and earth joining in to collaborate on the long finish. Fruity and smooth, with a lot of spice, and just enough acidity to be mouth-watering. Solid value.
