Golden yellow, stewed apple and toasty notes on the nose, feels quite tart yet at the same time there is no shortage of sweetness arising from a core of juicy red apple skins. Checking the label it is no surprise to see 50% Pinot Meunier, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay and 5g/L dosage. Brioche,lemon, raspberries(!), orange, a weak touch of toffee in the nose. Creamy, lemon, grape, minerality, refreshing, green apples, long intense taste. Low dosage of 3g/L, degorge April 2018. The raspberries in the nose is intriguing for a Blanc de Blanc.
