Great surprise; had after a '00 Ridge Monte Bello and I thought this wine showed better; jammy flavors; perhaps a bit sweet for the type of wine, but I loved it; solid body and singing right now; no reason to wait

Wow, forgot this was tucked away in the rack; casual, but elegant choice for a windy, rainy night. Lovely and prominent nose of plushy black fruits, with some woodsy/leathery qualities; deep and dense inky color; balance and finish both smooth and integrated.

Very nice wine from Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley. Color: Clear, dark-ink ruby. Nose: Raspberry spice, leather and dark cherry. Palate: a bit over ripe, higher in alcohol than should be, as it takes a bit away from the fruit. But the fruit is still there: Soft blueberry on the fore-tongue w/ a hint of lavendar/floral. Mid-palate is silky chocolate hints and hind palate has a long smooth finish of fresh & actually sour cherry notes. Peaking now, won't hold on …
