Excellent! Future release. 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 4% Syrah. Incredible nose loaded with aromas of black cherries, chocolate, and oak. Flavor profile continues onto the palate with an unfolding leather characteristic appearing on the mid-palate. Beautifully balanced. Smooth medium-long finish. Excellent, especially considering this is – I believe – Patterson’s first Cabernet Sauvignon varietal release.
