Chanticleer Riserva

1 hour decant, 60 F. Medium-depth ruby color already starting to edge towards garnet. Lively acidity, soft tannins with just a touch of velvet. No noticeable heat, oak well-integrated. Subdued nose of red fruits and mocha. Lovely earthy blackberry fruit on the palate, hints of cranberry. Long drying finish with just a bit of pleasant spice. I think this is just starting to come into its own, and has years ahead.
