Beautiful will and albeit young much like a lot of the well made 2007s in Burgundy is drinking beautifully now. Open nose, dark fruit twist, fresh, good acidity, vibrant and very elegant. Ok at this stage drink more like a premiere still it's worth a go. The bonus is like much of Girardin's beauties it is also well priced. 92 easy.

Drinking well, silky and smooth but lacking a bit of finesse for a grand cru but very nice all the same. 90 points

A wonderful smokey pinot nose. It's silky, cherry, smokey and smooth. Maybe a little young, solid 88 points, plenty of room to improve. Drank the remaining bottle the next night at a wine tasting with 7 friends average Rating 90 points

Funky, "Bret" tones inicially, and somewhat off-putting. After about 3 hours of decanting, became fuller and more complex.

Girardin 2007 Red Burgs Tasting (Vin Vino Wines, Palo Alto, California) : A little too oaky, tart cherry and allspice nose with a little VA; allspice, oak and tart baked cherry palate; medium finish
