Still quite nice but I already have some in the cellar, I need to drink soon. Apparently KL is overstocked and the 2024 is not coming anytime soon.

This perennial favorite may only be getting better. Incredible balance, with bright mixed berries topped with a dash of grapefruit. Refreshing, crisp, and minerally to boot. Surely among my very top rosés.

Very pale pink. Fragrant nose of light orange with maybe a touch of grapefruit. Over the years I've tasted several vintages of this wine, and it's always been consistent and solid. Other reviewers have given the grape mix, which relies predominantly on Grenache Gris. I was going to give my single bottle to my neighbors, who love visiting southern France and sipping southern French rosés, but I selfishly chose to sample it myself. I guess I'm going to have to …

Fontsainte's 2023 Gris de Gris is a blend of 90% Grenache Gris, 5% Carignan and 5% Mourvèdre, made by saignée and precluded from undergoing malolactic conversion. Pale salmon in color, it offers and aromatic profile of Mandarin oranges, strawberries, nectarines, honeydew, dried flowers and lemon verbena. Light-bodied, vibrantly acidic, unoaked and without noticeable alcohol (12.5%), it delivers flavors in line with the aromas and stays solid on the the midpalate. Concluding with a lengthy, mineral-laden finish, this is a delicious …

One of two bottles I pulled out for a Lenten dinner with friends. This wine has crisp acidity but also a depth of flavors. It was the preferred of the two but both were great with the pasta.

My favorite rose, so well made and so good with food. Aging with grace and power.

PnP followed over two hours. Fresh, with a med(-) body, with the mineral influence slightly dominating that of the fruit element; on the nose, and the palate. This was served (and more or less maintained) at ~ 50F, a temp I found enjoyable for this particular wine. This rosé is a saignée blend of Grenache Gris (90%) Mourvèdre (5%), and Carignan (5%). Here, the grapes are harvested partially by hand. and partially by machine. Initial fermentation is at a controlled …

A lovely delicate Rose from Corbieres! In the glass, light pink with a touch of orange color. Engaging fresh fruit aromas of strawberries, raspberries, and peach with a touch of minerality. On the palate, flavor notes mirroring the wine’s aromas. Excellent acidic balance…..outstanding Rose.

Light strawberry, dried orange, peach aromas and flavors. Clean. Med body (13.5%). Some mineral tang. Totally dry.
