This was a very nice bottle for the price. Although this was my last bottle I would say the wine will drink well, maybe better for another 3-5 years.

En fremragende vin LBC vin købt 2010. Næsen er overraskende lukket og let. Men i munden vinen kommer til live. Den dominerende smag er mørkerøde frugt brændt af solen og jordfarver. En nydelse - kun en enkelt flaske tilbage.

This was the great surprise of this line-up. Made out of parcel, terroir and old vine selection -the vines selected all ranging in the 80 to 100 years old-, this wine, a blend of 80% Grenache and the rest of Syrah, endures a very long fermentation. Pop and pour but let sit in the glass for 40 minutes. Nice red fruit on the nose. Palate is smooth with red fruit and some Traditional Rhone that fades with air. Nice finish.

Excellent wine. The nose is surprising in that it is quite closed and seem rather light but in mouth the wine comes alive. Dominating tastes are dark red fruit burnt by the sun and earthy tones. Very much enjoyed

Dark fruit, garrigue (of course), and plenty of spice. Medium body with a delicious, lingering finish and enough complexity to keep it interesting. Sweet tannins will keep this going for several years. Gets better with air, too; 89 1st day, 90 2nd, 91 on the third. Good QPR; buy more.

Deep red with a lot of magenta. Candied strawberry, mint leaf, soil, and a whiff of bbq ribs. Copious red fruits, spices, leather, smooth rounded tannins, and a sweet lingering finish. A tasty, interesting melding of old world and new.

Respi-aerate to decanter and serve. Color dirty garnet with purple hues. Lovely albeit standard rhone nose of plum, garrigue, earth, violets. On the slurp we have dark sweet plums, blackberry, charcoal, earth, and pepper. Medium acid, medium tannins with a firm youthful grip. Medium short finish. Seems rather front loaded. Pleasant enough to drink, but don't expect it to blow your skirt up. The value is just OK at 17.

Opened and let sit overnight in decanter. Red-purple with good legs; nose of plum, herb, pepper; same on palate with more pronounced pepper and earth; aggressive tannins and acidic finish a bit off-putting. Short finish disappointing. Interesting wine with a lot going on, but a tad unbalanced.

Excellent nose! Lots of plum and cinnamon with a full bodied pallet with nice balancing acidity. I decanted this for about 6 hours and it needed every minute of it. Great wine.

Not rated due to possibility of taint - but if I put a number on this, would be around 79. Nose was balanced and restrained, had me looking for a better wine than this bottle. On the palate, tart and bitter dry acidity with a thickly tannic finish. Definitely notes of herb and underbrush with a rustic mouthfeel.
