Give an hour to open...color deepens from light raspberry to medium purple...light...changing flavors of kiwi, raspberries, and gelatin...long finish with fading acidic tartness...nice stuff!

Wow, I'm loving Ben's 2007s. This wine was an epiphany wine for a close friend, so we will visit it multiple times in the next few years. Complexly wonderful full fruit aromas and lingering red fruit flavors. Like most 2007 Pinots, this wine is tasting great right now

Cherry and raspberry fruit with a whang of acidity that hangs with it throughout the palate. Rich mouth feel from the very beginning, and some light tannins keep it in check at the end. Very good food wine. I do wish it had a little more complexity, maybe some hint of the mineral or soil.

Light ruby color; intense complex nose with roasted red fruits, a slight meaty/gamey character, some darker earthy tones; palate is light bodied but substantial with structure but light tannins, dense concentration of red and less black fruits, mouthwatering acidity; persistent medium-long finish. This is excellent, showing varietally correct but also with great character, density and concentration of fruit but with balance that gives it a long window, though very enjoyable to drink now. Very enjoyable. 93-94

Light colored. Medium to full bodied, this was best with a bit of cellar chill, as it kept the underlying sweetness under control. Lots of spicy cherry and classic (Cali) cola flavors. A nice match with a dry rubbed grilled pork chop.

very disappointed in this wine after the other two stellar Papapietro pinots. tastes almost like there is RS in here. flat, flabby, and uninteresting, just filtered, one-dimensional fruit.

What a great value! This wine does not disappoint. Plenty of subtle fruit with great structure and balance. I would say it's starting to enter it's ideal drinking window. Very happy with Papapietro.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... what a wonderful bottle of wine. We took this to our favorite restaurant and had it with a parchment wrapped filet of sea bass. Dark cherries and raspberries on the nose and palate with just the right amount of vanilla oak. With or without food, this wine is a winner!!

Another great Papapietro Perry pinot. Opaque but darkred in color with aromas of smoke and dark red fruit. On tasting, there is smoke, an earthiness and dred raspberries, cranberries and dark cherries with a long silky finish.

This was one of the best pinots I have ever had. Dark red yet opaque, with aromas of dark berries and red licorice. In the mouth, it was silky , well balanced and full of fruit. It was lush and the finish went on and on. I loved it. I can still remember it days after we drank it.

popped and poured. med ruby color, nose showing ripe cherry fruit with some nutty vanilla tones. on palate there is great balance between fruit and tannin, with good midpalate weight and glycerin and med length finish that shows skin/stem tannin at the end. very smooth despite alcohol.

Inky, complex. Needs about half an hour to open up but when it does watch out. Very well balanced with raspberries, dark cherries and cinnamon sticks. Super long finish leaves you with a wonderful afterglow.

Nearly black-purple in glass, with a nose of black fruit and leather, covering the palate with richly-extracted flavors of blackberry and purple plums, framed with notes of leather, cedar, beef carpaccio, and touches of rose petal and wild mushroom. Spectacular and long finish, and layer upon layer of complex flavors that linger on.
