Frederic Cossard Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières

An atypical Meursault with a tropical and dried fruits bouquet. Good minerality. Full body. Low in acidity. The vintage variation of Cossard is extremely significant.

Colour is more mature than expected, probably because of unfiltered wine-making. Strange tropical fruits aroma initially. The bouquet changed into beautiful mixture of mineral, floral and citrus after slightly chilled. Very fine structure on the palate as a Meursault 1er. Ample of fruits, mineral and lingering acidity. Very long finishing. Ready for drink.

On a fruit day. Limestone, mineral, and touch of stone fruits. Medium+ body, or full for a 2011. Very good structure and lingering acidity. It's a very well-made 2011 Folatières.
