Masseria La Rosa del Salice Donna Giovanna Salento IGT

Initial impression is prunes, raisins, slight smoke and medium to light tannins. Much of the fresh fruit is gone and there's a brown tint on the rim but there's still a bit of acidity. Second night - this was definitely cooked.

Excellent Cherries, black fruit, spice, jammy fruit, pepper, finishes with some smoke and tobacco. Nice length on the finish. A-
