Mongeard-Mugneret Vosne-Romanée

My second/last/best condition bottle -- see previous review below. Fill at mid-shoulder. Cork saturated but solid, came out cleanly in 2-3 pieces. Quite obviously past its prime, but still interesting enough to drink. Little-to-no fruit, but still had structure. Ranking one point higher this time.

From a small collection (2-3 mixed cases) of mostly 60s-70s bottles in iffy condition. This was among the worst looking, with the cork so loose it was about to fall into the bottle. I opened it the first night I got the wines, fully expecting to have to pour it down the sink. First sip was completely boring, downright watery.
