Château Bouscassé Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh Brumaire

La qualité est toujours au rendez-vous et sa vieilli bien ce vin. Beau nez sur les agrumes et les épices. En bouche, belle acidité, peu sucré et bien souple, pas le plus long mais franc de gout et bien fait. Très bon.

Time to drink up on these I think, it's passed through a phase of putting on weight, it's still very (plenty of apricot honey and acidity, bit of hay from age) but it no longer seems to be improving, and is perhaps getting a little thinner.

Une très grande réussite que ce Pacherenc. De très nets et affriolants parfums de pêche, et d'abricot, de cire d'abeille et de miel se retrouvent aussi en bouche avec une acidité juste parfaite pour soutenir le tout sans lourdeur. Le sucre est bien présent et le tout a un côté "toasté" fort élégant. On en boirait toute la soirée! Il m'a semblé que ce vin pourrait encore vieillir ou du moins se maintenir à ce niveau très longtemps. Meilleur que …

Just great! Great balance, slight acetone with dried apricots, pineapple-with-a-dash-of-aniseed. Hint of sweet grapefruit with lime, perfect level of acidity. Perfect with an apple croustade and creme fraiche.

Almoco no Gima : Evolved, very rounded, complex, intense, great acidity.

Midsummer barbecue w/ A&M (Mörby) : Sun-dried and candied fruit, with no botrytis to speak of, a powerful body and quite a lot of oak that is beginning to integrate. The wine is immediately liked around the table even if a bit too robust for our strawberry Pavlova, it should have paired better with the caramelized flavours of an apple-pie, or a blue cheese. We'll hold the remaining bottles a few years for the oak to settle in.

Not on as top form as previous bottles, I think its starting to move from its youthful phase and is putting on a little weight. Will probably be a different, but equally classy wine given a couple more years slumber.

An awesomely good bottle of this. Seamless. A fantastic combination of orange citrus and toffee'd sweetness. Always bright balanced and long.

At Fig: more raisiny than usual, but still the characteristic lush almondy fruit, good tangy bite

Deep gold/orange; rich marmalade nose; ditto on the palate, with a good acidic arc; long sweet orange finish; isn't quite together (yet) as it passes through mid-palate.
