Youthful purple/ruby colour. Candied berries and charred sugar on the nose. Young and assertive palate with bright fruit, high acidity and moderate tannin extract. Some rooty flavours extend the finish. 3.5/5 Five hours later...much more relaxed with rounded beetroot/cherry aromas and the acidity succumbing to a balanced level. 4/5
