- Ruby color - Tarnished hue, lacking the vibrancy and clarity of big note Pinot. Earthy nose with bitter chocolate and black fruits, predominantly cherry on the palate. Sour finish with savoury acid structure taking away balance in an otherwise fair priced wine.

Blind Tasting of New Zealand Pinot Noir with New Plymouth Wine Tasting Club : Menthol, deep, well extracted, smooth with drying coffee. A little thick and dense for pinot noir. Big but not sweet and a little out of balance. B/B-

No formal note - This is showing Central Otago typicity with raspberry nots, forest floor... The tannins are soft and round, decent length and good level of complexity
