A massal selection of old pre-phylloxera vines (replanting cuttings from best vines) sourced from a vineyard planted in Gualtallary at 1550 m asl. Purple hue, fruity aromas with violets and lavender and with plum and black berry varieties. Complex mouthfeel with some chalkiness showing chewy tannins but with intense fruit and juiciness. A delicious modern Malbec crafted from a cold vintage at high elevation. Excellent length and finish.
