Château La Bidière Muscadet de Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie

This was not as fresh and fruity as I had expected, based on the previous experiences with this wine. Was it a bad bottle, or is the age with this wine becoming a problem?

Picked up for 8€ from Latvian market. Medium yellow colour. Mineral-driven nose has seashells, salinity, some lemon peel and a touch of pear. Taste is as mineral and low on fruit and replicates the flavors of the nose, while adding some flintiness. A very good and fresh muscadet, for a very affordable price.
