Cottanera, Etna Bianco

Peaches and a very pleasant bit of mango. Mostly from the Cottanera Contradre with a little from Fuedo do Mezzo. Not as much mineral as I would like in an Etna Bianco.

Really solid Enta Bianco at Da Francesco Rome with Alex. Fresh with some weight, complexity, well made. No notes

Very "Sauv Blanc" Like! Carricante grape.

I expect something different from Etna but, blind, I would never have taken this as coming from south of the Alps. Colour was very pale yellow. At first my nose detected a lot of spice and garrigue from the neck of the bottle but in the glass the fruit, mainly citrus and malic, and minerals pushed these right into the background.
