A very good wine! Pronounced aromas with lime and lemon, unripe apricots and petrol overall. High acidity and aromas definition in the mouth with a good length balance and intensity. Could improve on the complexity.

Was the mystery and blind wine served tonight. It was lighter than I would have expected for a 2017, lovely fruit with acidity peaking at the back palate. Smooth and tangy. Would like to try with more age but I did enjoy this one.

Just superb. Already showing aged characteristics but plenty more fruit and acid in the tank for another a day. Buy more!!

So easy to drink. Rounded, smooth lime deliciousness with a little sparkle. Not too dry, great wine that should also cellar well.

2022 vintage

Very pale lemon, almost watery. Nose of lemon and lime rind with a soft palate on entry with a round, creamy note and then the lime fruit comes through with a pronounced chalk and stone minerality on the long finish. Really very good and I'm sure it will be better with time.

Lovely, expressive nose of lime pith, mandarin, jasmine and greengage; good weight and refreshing acidity on the palate with just the right amount of dry extract. Pomelo on the finish. Delicious.

Aromatic nose of lime, lemon zest, hints of mandarin and surprisingly for its age, developing a little kerosene note already. Fresh, crisp and acidic on the palette with more lime and lemon. Well weighted.

Excellent young riesling. Very pristine. Lemon/lime, sherbert, almost a musk like character. A classic Hanlin Hill. I expect this will drink well now as a young wine and age gracefully for many years.

Beautiful fruit with zesty Limes, Pine-Lime, granny smith apple, a lovely minerality component, 'zingy' acidity, with a touch of a sweetness on a long and lingering finish.

Clearly some development since the last tasting note with its colour of light gold. Sweet ripe stone fruit with some sweet spice. Fatty texture and concentrated flavour in the mid palate with the acidity more noticeable on the finish. This is really nice and very drinkable now, the style has clearly changed as I’ve had several 10-20yr old hanlin hills recently under screwcap that seem younger and still developing and improving

A well-made Aussie Riesling. The nose had a deep waft of sweet stone fruit and more citrusy lemon aromas lined with a touch of minerality and then a lift of greener aromas. A very nice Riesling, fully dry, lemon zest and minerals. Not particularly grand or long, but very correct, good finish.

Colour: very pale - almost Sauvignon blanc colour. Nose: very nice, floral Riesling. Taste: surprising first sip, showing very light, almost sauv blanc. But then it comes back with fuller Riesling acidity. So easy to drink. Not a typical Clare Riesling. Live this wine. It could benefit further cellaring.

Has a nice touch of vanilla pod, that I associate with Eden Valley not Clare so much. Nice 2017 acidity. Otherwise too young to truly enjoy. Expect a higher score in a few years. {12.5%, screwcap of course}

2015 vintage

Wine has changed incredibly in a few short years already. The tropically fruit flavours that were prominent when just out of vintage are softening to a very nice all rounder.
