Familiar nose, but this wine is sub-standard.

OK, but not up to the WS rating. However, delivers an experience consistent with the price point. This is a "medium" PN.....not deep and dark and not light. It is recently purchased. Perhaps it will improve with a little time in storage.

Second time this year to enjoy this wine. So this time the bottle was open overnight. That always helps. A lot if the young acidity and young red wine austerity has aired out allowing the fruit to express itself. The wet earth Pinot funk is more readily available. The extra air has enhance the release of the oak and dark cherry fruit. Nice and smooth. Clean mouth coating finish.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cranberry and gooseberry. It tastes like cranberry, raspberry, black currant (cassis) and cinnamon. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

It's a bit fresh and light, berries and cherry. Warms up nicely. Will probably be better tomorrow.

Light to medium ruby red. Can certainly pick up some oak on the nose and a trace of heat, also something perfumed and floral. Palate is light to medium with a slight creaminess to the texture. Drinks a little unruly and warm. But, it's a decent weeknight cellar defender.

Good red fruit & spice on the nose. Nice raspberry, red cherry, and cranberry. Orange zest tart/bitterness, nice acidity, and some spice, a bit less spice than anticipated from the nose. Good value and may get a bit better over the next year.

Served by the glass in United Polaris cabin from San Francisco to Hong Kong. Deep magenta color. Sage, cranberry, and raspberry. Dry palate, with lingering acidity. Full, medium intensity tannins on the medium long+ finish. This was too herbal for me. Could be better on the ground, but not good enough for me to ever seek out.

From the first sip this is quite a treat. Very sharp and precise on the tip of the tongue with whole package of fruit and acid with accompanying secondary and tertiary flavors. Color is redish purple and quite opaque for a Pinot. Solid medium body while still showing an elegance. Just the correct amount of that earthy, wet ground flavor and aroma. Some lead pencil and charcoal, with just a bit of light caramel. Cranberry and black cherry. Refined, lively …
