Due Vigne Nebbiolo

Popped and poured, consumed over 3 hours. Light translucent color. Nose is pretty tight with a little dusty black cherry. Taste is a little simplistic with dark fruits and mocha showing through. Nice acids up front with drying tannins throughout. Less impressed than on previous tastings but not bad on the QPR front.

Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. As with previous notes: light color, nose is dusty blackberry but now with a little menthol. Taste is dark fruit with a bit of mocha underneath. REALLY firm tannins. Good QPR

Enjoyed this a little more than before. Light color. Nose is a dusty road with hints of dark fruit. Taste is dark fruits with firm tannins and a nice smooth transition. More alcohol on the back end than I remember before but also more pleasant mouth feel.

Don't see many California Nebbiolo's. Relatively light color. Nose changes with time. After an hour of decanting the nose is a dusty blackberry. Taste is predominate dark fruits with a very smooth transition with teeth gripping tannins.
