Quite an interesting wine. Given as a gift from a family in the region. Cab Franc and Pinot Noir blend. Cab francs not my favourite grape. I expected this little chappy to be a bit flabby and lacking in definition. On the nose the pinot noir bouquet pulled forth with surprisingly nice hints of cherry with slightly rustic barnyard aromas. On tasting a smooth, silky drop that settles well on the mid palate.
