With some air the nose opens up a little, starting to reveal light meaty tones and hints of fresh red berries. The wine is full-bodied, round and quite mellow on the palate with rich flavors of blackcurrant marmalade, some raspberry jam, a little bit of ripe boysenberry and a hint of peppery spice.
