Paired with cheeses. Best match for it was 1924 Herve Mons Blue. A: Fig, cedar, cherry T: cherry with some notes of mushroom, forest floor Nice, juicy tempranillo. Not terribly complex but an easy drinker that can pair well with a variety of meals. Could probably age another year or two, but it's good now.

Was blinded by my brother on this at the end of the evening (after 4 other blind wines), so we were getting tired and did not put our full energy into this one. In any case, this had some forward, primary fruit but was not jammy, and had again, some prominent tannin on the back end. Nice balance, well-made wine I commented as I was tasting it.
