Marsovin 100 Years -

Medium garnet colour. On the nose medium intensity, developing aromas of red cherries, red plums, jaminess, stewed/ baked fruit, liquorice, vanilla, cedar, charred wood. Some tertiary aromas coming in of caramel, toffee, leather and mushroom. On the palate dry, medium acidity, tannins, alcohol and body. Medium finish and intensity as well. Jaminess coming through more. Overall conclusion: a good quality wine. Can drink now but possibly has a couple of yrs ahead of him.

This was gross. Such a heavy hand on the treatment layered on extracted and forced fruit. Stale cheap tobacco and old doors.

Garnet color. Aromas of cherry, plum, raisins, tobacco, leather, smoke. Medium acidity, dry, smooth tannins. Taste of cherry, pepper, dark chocolate. Nice.
