Last of our bottles. This wine comes from a special terroir of 100% flint “silex” soil. It is quite a bit more expensive than the standard Morogues from this excellent producer. Is it different? Certainly- it is fuller, more rounded. Is it better? Not for us as it lacks the vibrancy of a really good Loire SB. Maybe the warm vintage does not help

Nice wine but did not hit the heights we had hoped for. For us this was not a step up from the Morogues which the price might suggest.

Shining brightly. Still young but starting to show some secondary character. Fab with pan-roasted scallops, shitakes, and Brussels sprouts.

This has really come into its own. Better knit, but still showing the exuberance of its callow youth. Probably shoulda bought more. Drink and hold. Yum!!!
