More harmonious than a year ago. The fruit has re-emerged - lemon drop and pineapple along with savoury herbs, Asian spices, a kiss of vanilla, touch of rock dust. Good volume but still crisp and bright. Excellent poise and balance. The oak is now fully integrated. Best showing yet. Drink over the next 2 years.

Not a fruit driven wine - allspice, lavender, dried grasses, rock dust, iodine, stone fruits, a little orange peel, a touch of pine needle. Tight, focused, stony on the palate. Really persistent, spicy finish. Added some melon after a couple hours. Slightly oily, almost soapy. This wine has closed down, lost baby fat. More interesting than pleasurable at this stage. Needs another couple years with upside.

14°C in zalto, needs surely two hours decant. Pale hue, flavours of lemon light pear. Palate is fresh mono dimensionnal on pomelo and light unripe pienapple. Long alfer taste ending on light oil then finish mineral. very goog Godello, one of the best for my small experience.

Definitely an perfect balanced wine, but I prefer chardonnay from Burgundy. This wine reminds me a little with white wines from the Rhone.

Leicht zurückhaltende Nase mit reifem, süßen Pfirsich, Birne, etwas Zitrus und ein klein wenig Kamille. Sehr schöne Klarheit und Komplexität. Am intensiven Gaumen saftig und leicht wachsig im Antrunk mit fruchtigen Pfirsich-Noten. Gefolgt von etwas Pikanz und frischer Zitrussäure, welche durchweg präsent bis ins Finish bleibt. Pikant und würzig im mittleren bis langen Nachhall. Der Wein hat eine sehr gute Länge am Gaumen und bleibt bei aller Finesse fruchtig und komplex am Gaumen. So I guess some of it is anfora and with a flor as well. Nose is quiet, but kinda funky with some quiet earthiness, then odd taste on the palate, but longer, kinda not that tasty of a finish as well.

Delicate lemon and fresh baguette on the nose, and the palate balances tree fruit (green apple aplenty) with citrus, maybe some very light florals and watermelon. The finish has some kind of funky flavor to it, can’t quite put my finger on it, and a slight pecorino cheese note emerges on the nose over time, along with acetone. This one really needed to open up. Decant. Grapefruit, exotic fruits, toasted almonds, earthy minerals. Not oaky like a Rioja, but still a nice touch. A good quality wine, although not entirely to my personal taste

Medium intensity with honeysuckle, a bitter note, lemon, grapefruit, light smokiness, minerality, fire stone, wet stone. Medium+ acidity with a long finish. The temp is important, it was too cold to start with, better at 12-14C. Has many years ahead

Just when I started to explore worldly whites I stumbled onto godello in the hands of Raul Perez. Hi-Times had a well crafted offering for these and I decided to take a flyer. Consumed over a few days. Easy 92

Lovely, fresh, Chablisesque for sure. I was expecting a bit more weight and texture so it was overpowered by the food alas.

Kinda a waxy, interesting nose. Mineral on the palate, quite long. Very interesting stuff. Chablis-e-an qualities to it I am being told.
