Veyder-Malberg Grüner Veltliner Alter-Native

Slightly golden amber color from a small amount of skin contact. Beeswax, honey, iodine, stone fruit on the nose. Palate has lots of fruit layers but somewhat muddled. Dense texture with a slightly bitter edge. Not nearly as precise, refined and layered as the Viessling bottling from the same producer enjoyed last evening.

One month on skin. med- tannins, quite smooth and more red-winey than the late bottling of 2015.
