Very smashable reisling, textural and not too acidic. Good stuff.

Just confirms that I think this style of dry Riesling might be the most refreshing wine on the planet. Tons of kerosene early dissipate after an 1hr or so, leaving a kaffir lime based beverage. There are some mineral touches as well. I will lay my last bottle down for a while to see what happens. Being under screw cap this should evolve slowly.

Aired it in the fridge for an hour or so. Pale yellow with green hints. Light notes of honey and toast with green apple/lime, pear, and a minerally character. Mouth wateringly intense and long in flavour, with lime and green apple and a prominent mineral attribute. This is what Riesling is all about. Delicious! Should've kept it longer!

A little more ripeness than some from Clare Valley, with super-high acidity that is well-integrated, and not jagged or bracing. One of the absolute best wine values I have found.

Light brassy colour. Nose beginning to show some aged complexity. Quite fine. Lime. Little kerosene character. Flavour follows. Still medium to high acid. Good elegance and length. Needs 5 years to reach its drinking window, IMO. A week later: Aroma of lime more evident, ditto palate and showing much better balance. Shows how this will likely look with a few more years. A wonderful example of Clare Valley Riesling.

Winner Winner! I love me some 'fish wine' as the wife calls it with the pike fish on the label. This went so good with an Island Pork Tenderloin Salad, the way the lime notes just bounce of f sweet and spicy dishes. Love. it.

Big fan of the 'fish wine' (as my wife call it) for quite some time, though I wish they were not so tricky to find on the west coast (snagged this at McArthurs in DC). Happy to report the 21 appears to be an especially strong vintage, with all the limey goodness than one expects along with the the tell acidity and a undercurrent sea mist over a gravelly bed of river rocks. Love to see where this goes in …

A consistent wine each year. Is this ‘21 or ‘22? Ohh, it’s ‘23… Fine and approachable , good acidity and minerals/quartz to the finish.

{screwcap} Musk aromas followed by similar flavours tinged with stewed apple laced with cinnamon. Slightly greasy texture, medium sort of weight, shortish but always dry finish. Nose and entry is best, palate gets less interesting the more time you devote to it. An early drinker in an honest but prosaic way.

22nd Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra) : Lime, lime cordial, sulphur; simple and slightly generic nose. Juicy, fleshy, generous, similar lime based flavour profile but balanced. Rather pleasant.

Tasted side by side with St Hallett’s Eden Valley riesling, same vintage. Pale hue, delicious and zesty, citrus characteristics. Drinking beautifully, comfortable this has a few more years in it, will commence an annual review…

Wow! Very pale colour... lemon pith, apple skin, tropical fruit notes on the nose, zingy acidity with matching big lemon, lime punches on the tongue and cheek...granny smith apples... nice length but not overly long... and the big zesty bomb mellows with each subsequent glass... great QPR

Palest lemon, light spritz in the glass. Fabulously concentrated, pure riesling nose - the last few of this variety I've had have been much more anonymous, but this is bang on. Lime, apricot, minerals, and that x-factor that I always assume is what people call 'petrol', though it doesn't really remind me of that. Lots of all this in the mouth too; a little less intense at first, but then waves of rich fruit - almost red on the midpalate. …

Screw-cap. By the glass at Plonk. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs. Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon, fresh lime, gentle white flowers, chalky minerality, hint of salty stones minerality. Developing. On the palate, dry, mouth-watering high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.3%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of tangy citrus lemon, fresh lime, honey green melon, chalky minerality, sweet gum. Medium finish. Good quality. Solid young Clare Valley Riesling. Could develop some …

Tasted at Three Borders Wine Group, Hampshire, UK. Pale green colour. Light nose, not immediately a riesling and not much of that typical petroly nose, so consistent with new world style. I found it quite acidic. Ok, but not memorable.

Beautifully fine, elegant, with beautiful acidity and refinement. This wine is set to develop wonderfully with bottle age. It should be a very exciting example in 5 to 8 years. An outstanding example of Claire Riesling.

Cracking CV Riesling from one of the best. For me, the nose and palate are all about lovely green apple flavours (almost green apple sorbet), but the palate has a quartz/mineral twist to finish. Well balanced, and with great length. Delicious.

Strong nose of lime zest and mandarin over a mineral background (chalk, river stones) and an array of floral notes. Palate is medium-bodied and chalky, with strong acidity and a hint of sweetness. Flavours of chalk, lime marmalade, orange blossom, and pandan.
