Basa Pinot Grigio Jantar

A friend brought this to an informal gathering. I thought I was pouring a pale white wine and was surprised when it came out the color of Coca-Cola. Three of the five drinkers ran screaming from the table, but the two of us who persisted found a wine that didn't have any off-putting natty character, but that tasted a lot more like a dry red vermouth than like a Pinot Grigio.
