Light garnet, orange colors on the fringe. Rose and dried cherry nose. Tart cherry flavors. Costco purchase- good value

Paired with lasagne. Delicious. Great mouthfeel and long smooth finish. Leather, pepper, currents.

Opened a bit tight and acidic but with air gained the right texture and balance. Cranberry, and sour red cherries, dusty cigar box nose- light body and not overly grippy tannins. Some of the sourness did not completely blow off even with air which made me wonder if the fruit selection wasn't that good given the vintage was good overall? As always with Barolo- better with food.

Not very Barolo-like. Acidic, without much body. Tasted more like a Chianti. Drank after decanting for 3 hours. Did not gain much the next day.

A terrific Barolo which I was surprised to even own. Balanced and light bodied with the tannins fully in check. I get an elegant fragrance on the nose and an even more elegant light floral and fruit flavor on the palette. The finish is equally floral and fresh. Lasts for 10-15 seconds

This was actually a very pleasant surprise. Very nice Barolo for being entry level with nice complexity (leather, petals and spices) and texture (thick tannins and toasted oak). Need to buy some more.

Definitely should have waited; better the second day but still needed more air/time. Not well integrated though very nice notes of leather, some subtle floral hints; lots of tannin on the finish. If I had another bottle, I would wait at least 2 or 3 years, maybe more.

Had with restuarant week lunch. Opened and poured almost immediately. Even so, quite pleasant. Big bold nose and on the palate; did soften a bit after an hour or so. Plenty of tannin and structure but not overpowering at all. Notes of cherry, raspberry and spice on the nose. Earthy notes with red fruit on the palate. Very nice overall.

At Tasting Event...Barolo snob here I guess, never found a $20 bottle actually want to buy and same goes here. To be fair, needs time or at least hope so. Served to us from bottle. Tasting score if had to 88, but just didn't come together and seemed a bit scattered.
