No real change. Coravin’d a large glass and let it sit for about 90 minutes. Still just seemed a bit off. Cracked the bottle the next day and let it decant and still no improvement. 🤷🏼♂️

Not sure what to make of this right now. It seems a bit discombobulated. It had some nice fruit flavor, black fruit & plums, but right now it seems to be lacking in balance, texture and body. Based on the taste alone, I’d give it 91 Points, based on the price paid, I’d give it 89 Points, and a Good QPR. I’ll split it and give it 90 Points and a “Like”. 100% cabernet from St. Helena. 400 cases. 26 months in 20% new French oak. Certainly not worth $150 the winery charges, but a nice CAB nevertheless. Well worth $35 from WTSO. I'm drinking over two days; day 2 more open. Deep garnet color. Floral and spice notes and cedar dominate. Chewy tanins but not overwhelming. Great long finish. This will evolve nicely over many years and improve.
