Served by the glass at a cute wine bar in Manchester (England). Very deep dark magenta color. Date, black cherry, honey, blackberry compote, baking spice, anise, and hints of meat and pepper. Smooth, dry palate, with very fine acidity. Firm, full tannins on the medium finish. Very easy drinker, but also very extracted/raisinated.

Very fruity, big, bold and in-your-face Shiraz. Not subtle, but good quality New World full bodied red. Had it as an aperitif on a rainy November evening and it worked well to drink on its own.

A Boutinot stable wine. Moreish blackcurrant / bramble crush. Excellent everyday wine, great qpr.

Tasted at the Whitewater Valley Wine Society, Hampshire, UK. This was the most popular wine of the evening. Deep black fruit driven in colour and aromas. On the palate it is deep and intense with velvety tannins and acidity – most pleasant! Great value for money!
