Maybe I buy the wrong bottles but I just don't find meursault to age very well. And 2010 and this producer are both great. This was a bit oaky, fat, vanilla infused. I actually spilled a little on the kitchen floor fumbling like a moron and was told several times how it smelled bad. It's not horrible, it's got a bit of nice tropics and minerality, and it's not premox just regular ox, but I wouldn't buy again.

This wine is in no shape for drinking right now. It smells like the inside of an oak barrel and is all out of whack on the palate. It's in a dumb phase and awkward and just don't bother with it for a while. The wine feels like it has the potential to be a good Meursault. …

This has a wondefully bright, mineral-laden, honeysuckle, matchstick, citrus zest nose followed by disjointed white and yellow fruit, rocks, and acid. I really wanted to like it, but after two hours of air and two glasses -- that's all could do. Day two, this has come together nicely with better overall balance but still finishes a bit …

Superb white Burgundy. This is so crystalline and crunchy, it's like you took some beautiful chardonnay and freeze-dried it. I tend to think of Meursault as fatter and deeper-pitched than this, but the brightness and sleek construction really seem to make this transcend the appellation.

First of what will be some rapid fire notes and hopefully complete coverage of Thanksgiving wines, though no promises as the day wears on. By the Jets-Patriots game, who knows? Pale straw color, delicious, inviting nose of lemon curd, light minerals, and a whiff of oak. Medium bodied, a hint of joyful sweet yellow fruits, and again an oaky impression that I suspect will integrate more with further bottle age. Excellent vivacity and balance. Served with a tuna tartare appetizer …
