Paired with a hearty Shepherd’s Pie, tasty drop deep and dark in flavour. Maybe left it a couple of years too many to be at its peak

Looked much older than the 8yrs suggests. Not much on the nose and the palate was typically cabernet (albeit at the riper end of the range). Overall not a bad wine but not one I'd be rushing back for. Drink now or over the next 2 years.

App: unclear brownish dark purple Ar: oak, mixed sweet dark berries Full bodied and rather expressive palate. Loads of oak and mocca, mixed with dark berries on the palate. Very good length
