Another good bottle of this. No signs of premox. Good fruit with lemon, lytchee, quince and just a touch of orange. Fresh acidity, slight notes of vanilla, honeysuckle and butterscotch. Just a touch of grass/herbs. Good details but would have been even better with more complexity. Very nice!

Holding up well with lots and lots of lemon, some apple and a herbal touch. Light vanilla and white flowers but quite racy and energetic compared to what I�ve come to expect from this producer. Would have liked a little more detail.

Oxidized and undrinkable

Nice and balanced, with tropical fruit, light citrus, and honeysuckle notes - easy to drink now, should pick up a few more to see how it evolves

Drank this on New Years 2014/5. The nose was almost of oxidated tones with oak and light fruits. The taste was reflecting the nose with great acidity and long after taste. The wine itself was really good, however the style I find reminicent with Jura, which are often more cheap than this.

Well developed nose with small oxidative notes. Something fishy here. Very ripe apple, wax, stale flowers and honey. Thin palate with citrus and minerals. Sour acidity. Liquorice on the finish. A bad bottle?. Still you can feel the steely, smokey mineral. Conclusion: FLAWED, THIN, BUT STILL SMOKE. (We never got around what was the problem with the bottle. Premox? But, the color was fine. Everybody was relieved that it was not one of the GC:s)

Brilliant Chassagne. This is so good. The price quality ratio is stunning. Tons of fine minerals and the most delicious citrus fruit. 1er Cru does not get much better than this.
