(Decanted for one hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue with a maturing nose showing liquorice, herbs and some sweet fruitiness and opens up with some blood iron and hints of burnt notes in a very nice and pleasant way. Silky smooth tannins on the palate where the primary fruit has almost faded away, but still backed up by a refreshing acidity and showing a warmth on the intense and lengthy finish. (Decanted for one hour) Brick red colour with white pepper, fresh blood, pencil and some herbs and hints of leather on the mature nose. Smooth on the palate focused on tertiary notes of leather, herbs and dried fruit but well balanced by a pleasant acidity backing up and giving structure. (Best 2005-2025)

(Decanted for half an hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue and a mature nose showing violets, leather and some herbs. Smoothing tannins on the palate still showing a nice fruitiness before a herbal touch showing on the finish. This was a very pleasant showing bottle that worked very well together with confit de canard tonight. (Best 2005-2025)

(Decanted for one hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue and with a very pleasant mature nose showing mint chocolate, mocha and some cedar wood. Opens up nicely in the glass and the palate shows smoothing tannins, but the structure is backed up by some primary fruit and acidity before more tertiary notes takes over on the lengthy finish. This is drinking very well still and should keep for some more years as well. (Best 2005-2025)
