subtle nose not much classic petrol - good acid still with nice fruit in the mouth and finish. Still drinking quite well. Served with dish that was fairly aid which brought the fruit and sweetens of the wine to the forefront

Really unbelievable and keeps getting better. Stunning nose of petrol, perfect acid balance and just barely off dry. Shockingly good and will no doubt improve for some time.

Light straw yellow color in the glass. The bouquet is slightly muted, showing primarily petrol, candied lemon and orange peel. The palate displays honeysuckle, tart grapefruit and nectarine. Acidity is very high and a bit overpowering. The mouthfeel is oily in character and there is a bit of syrupy sweetness. The wine finishes at medium length. Overall, this was a pleasant wine for the price but lacking in complexity and a touch out of balance with the strong acidity.

Was this the same wine as last time? This one was perfectly balanced, a nice nose of petrol and certainly was showing its age. Just a delicious bottle of wine, and a great value. I wonder what the third one has in store!

Birthday riesling tasting : Medium yellow-green color; nice nose with lime fruit, slate minerality, a bit lighter on the intensity than I might prefer; palate is off-dry, a bit of a sugared sweetness that fades quickly, slight lime; short finish. Cleaner and fresher overall style. Overall this is a bit of a disappointment even for the price, just lacking intensity on the nose and any persistence or complex flavors on the palate. 82

Delicious. Sweeter than I would have guessed for a Kabinett, but well balanced, medium weight, and a rather young-tasting Riesling. Surprisingly not much in the way of secondary characteristics yet.

Holy shits! For $12?! It's got that awesome petrol nose....and the palate is excellent! It's has a sweet mouthfeel but a fun acidity that keeps it from tasting too sweet. Lots of apple notes with honey and stone fruit and a suuuuuper long finish! Deceptively complex. Impressive kabinett - this one will cellar for a while.

Clear with medium viscosity in the glass. Simple nose of terpene, melon, honey and citrus. Medium body and off-dry with perfectly sweet melon, honey, pink lady apple, lychee and white peach on the palate. Round and thoroughly mouthcoating. Medium finish. An excellent pick from a trusted somm.

Nicely proportioned. Some petrol, tropical fruits, hint of banana custard (in a good way) and lime zest. Well balanced with ample acidic lift. Picks up some weight with air. Good value at $15.
