Rather grapey on the nose, with additional elements of eucalyptus, stone, cranberry, and maybe cherry licorice. Full flavored on the palate, with a deep core of red fruit. Vibrant and juicy, with great acidity. Mild, refined tannins contribute some structure. Delightfully earthy and minerally on the long finish. This is a bold, delicious wine that shows how cru Beaujolais can compete with bigger, more "serious" wines when made well.

always a great Beaujolais, this is one of my favorites. It’s not trying to be something more than a Beaujolais and I love simple Beaujolais. It’s got an earthiness and a touch of rusticity that adds another dimension.

Love this wine. Bigger and bolder than I expected, but luscious and lip-smacking.

Just another beautifully complex gamay from Chanrion. I’ve been moving through a broad range of reds over the last few weeks; all high quality. This is the one that made me smile.

Crushed raspberry, strawberry, crushed gravel, lilac, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, blueberry, rhubarb, pepper, hyacinth. Really exceptional stuff. Exceptional balance. Long mineral driven finish. Pronounced intensity. Great complexity, so much cool stuff going on here, and it's all working harmoniously. Very fine tannins. Very gulpable, but savoring the glass is greatly rewarded. Needs a solid chill, the alcohol is very high and distracts a lot of not cool enough.

Black fruit, earth on the core, best chilled to bring out the good acidity on the finish.

So good with a bit of a chill on a hot day. Pomegranate, blackberry and loads of violet with some gravel and mellow black pepper on the finish

Bright, fresh, summer red. Brilliant fruity nose, flavor of bursting cherries, a tad sweet with a little chewiness toward the end for depth if not complexity. Medium finish. A happy wine. Enjoyed.

Clear ruby Fragrant candied nose Tasty, but Palate gets a bit cloying almost. I’d serve chilled
