Best of the two library cases so far. Opened up throughout 4 hours. Not much sentiment. Beautiful! Everything you’d hope for.

Really interesting nose on this wine. The most significant is a blast of holiday mints (the sweet, pastel colored mints), mushroom gravy, sweet anise, and some (finally typical to cab franc) vegetal qualities, but only slightly. Tannins are powdery, some cherry comes through, which is what I would guess comes from a big of Merlot in the blend.
