Very smooth - nice nose, woody. This wine can mature for longer - try again in August 2017.

My shiraz girl liked it, but to me it seemed kind of dusty and heavy, oxidized quickly, OK but for $22 was expecting more nuance.

- Garnet color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Surprisingly good. Cellaring made a huge difference in settling the tannins and creating a balance. Very smooth, silky, very Bordeaux-like.

Second bottle in 6 weeks, this a better one. More expansive and interesting and without the jammy quality of the earlier one. Time in hand.

Plenty of fruit and colour, and it is wearing its age well. 57% Shiraz, 33% Cab Sauvignon, 10% merlot. Not going to be very distinguished sadly and the Shiraz seems to give it a slightly 'jammy' quality

Dark red, black centre. Full, blackcurrant flavour. Good body and tannins. Would last.

Curious about geography so had low expectations. Not disappointed or overwhelmed. Fine enough to drink at random mid week but have had better at this price point.

Plum, black pepper and dusty with a little chocolate. Had an edge to it as if it were hinting at being vegetal or stemmy but was not real forward with either.

Black tending to dark red at the rim - no SA smokey nose, cedar and dark fruits. Medium to heavy bodied, quite a clean palate, not too sweet, drying tannins on the finish. Quite good.

Disappointing - nothing to make it stand out from the crowd at this price point

Was expecting a lot, was disappointed by a fairly basic wine. Nothing standing out. It's best feature is its balance but that's about it. In this price range from South Africa, go with a Meerlust Rubicon if you can find one.

P&P. Opaque, purple. Nose of extracted Shiraz and more. Dark, dark fruits. Medium-weight mouth feel. Black fruit on the palate, dark, not very tannic, but some bitterness (less & less as the evening wore on). Medium-length finish. I don't get much Cab or Merlot, but I can taste the Petit Verdot. I'm not sure I like it with what seems like a lot of Shiraz. On the palate, not enough fruit and a bit too much bitterness to be very …
