I really like Chanterêves but this exceeds my expectations! Fantastic wine, very leesy and creamy and rich but still slender and fresh. Has some high class Jura Chardonnay to it - creamy lemon, cheese rind, baking soda but also classic Burgundy with little oak imprint - waxy, yellow fruit, peach, green apple, white flowers, mint, honey, and a zesty ending. This does not quit either! Must be my favourite Aligoté so far even though the De Moor 2019 was incredible …

Det här är riktigt gott! Gul stenfrukt, honung, en lätt grön ryggrad, hög och välgjord syra. Önskar verkligen att jag hade en massa av det här vinet!

Light in color. Elegant and highly aromatic with bright and energetic citrus notes, fresh and snappy finish, refreshing, with a chiseled and long finish. Very good balance, no heat. Very good for its level.

La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers - New York NY) : Walk around tasting. Yellow and green apple with lemon and lemon curd. No sense of Aligoté's tendency for bitterness, and nothing too ripe. Bright textures throughout with good depth.

A very impressive Aligoté. So much green apple, ripe lemon and lemon peel with a faint cut grass note that could have convinced me this was ripe Sauv Blanc. Very crunchy mineral textures with impressive old vine density for a wine at this level, concluding with sneaky good length and wonderful brightness. Aligoté's noteworthy successes for at least the past five vintages (since 2015) make me realize that climate change can be this varietal's friend.

Delicious aligoté. Perfect balance and good complexity and depth. Probably better in a year or two but no harm popping now.

Fantastic wine! Glad that I got to try this wine since its a really small produktion. Outstanding mouth feel, high burgundian quality for a Loire price. Drink within five years

this is my first experience with Aligote but what a great place to start! this wine is delicious. small hint: it gets better as it moves towards cellar temp from fridge temp. it starts out fresh and crisp but gains some creaminess and complexity as it warms up. yum!

Hazy golden yellow color. Nose doesn’t give much of anything away on pop and pour. As it starts to warm up it begins to show some character. It has a creamy texture and shows flavors of tropical fruits, some pear and a little citrus.

A single-vineyard Aligoté from a 0,17-hectare parcel. Fermented with indigenous yeasts using a pied de cuve. Aged for 12 months in used oak barrels ranging from 228 to 600 liters in size. Bottled with a minimal addition of SO2. 13% alcohol. Pale yellow color with youthful, greenish highlights. Cool, fragrant and quite precise nose with aromas of fresh apples and crunchy quince, some creamy tones that suggest oak aging, light waxy tones, a little bit of skunky reduction that blows …
