First had at a Friuli tasting and was impressed. Bought 2 bottles. This is a really well built wine. Rich dark fruit with earthy and a touch of barnyard. Really really enjoyed it. Will not wait too much longer to open the 2nd one.

Very fine showing. Plump, mocha, forest floor. Several days later took on considerable structure, tightened a bit. I will put the third bottle away and visit in a few years. Surprising, as the most recent bottle seemd to tire, but this one quite quite fine. Almost Pomerol like in structure and elegance.

Very well made. Lush, Lots of fruit. Good acid. Nice chocalate edge. This is a very good example of what can be done with reds in Friuli. Highly enjoyab.e
