Showing some maturity here. Some bricking in the rim. In the nose, the wine is expressive, but needs a bit of time to get there- 1hr in the decanter. Aromas of dusty Swedish fish, raspberry, a bit of ethanol, and sweet earth. Direct and to the point- this isn't a thinking wine, but it smells great. In the mouth, the wine is full body med- fruit acid, med tannin, some more ethanol showing, you can feel it on the back. …

Good Aglianico fruit with some smoke and spice. Well structured and enjoyable but not very multidimensional. One can do better at this price.

Very well made expression of Aglianico, needs air to fully open up, peppery, powerful, not 'easy drinking' but so good. QPR was not there.
