A blend of the 2021 and 2022 vintages, the 2021 spent 16 months, on the lees, the 2022 6 months, no oak. Screw cap. 13.5% ABV. Light lemon colour. Ripe gooseberry, tropical notes, nuts, and yeasty notes, with smooth, medium-plus acidity, and average to good length. Medium-bodied and well-balanced. Food-friendly. Good value. Would buy again.

Screw cap. The wine offered white stone fruit, peach, apple, papaya, nettle, hey and lactic notes on the nose. On the palate the wine showed lemon, lime, gooseberry, apple and grassy notes, with high acidity and very good length. The medium-bodied, medium-complex wine contained the alcohol (14% ABV) well. Interestingly, it seemed riper on the stone fruit-driven nose than on the citrus fruit-driven palate. Not quite as good as the 2011.
